Future release — Fuel Monitoring
In developmentSatSentinel Fuel Monitoring
Metered bowser visibility and fuel-event reporting beyond cellular coverage.
Mobile fuel bowser with monitored cap, flowmeter and satellite communicator on a mine site
Positioning
What it's being designed for
Primarily aimed at mobile fuel tanks and fuel bowsers serving mines, farms, construction sites, generators, vehicles and remote equipment. Fuel Monitoring combines a monitored fuel cap, a digital pulse-output flowmeter, GNSS position and a SatSentinel edge device — delivering fuel events via satellite into cloud dashboards, rules and reports.
Potential planned capabilities
- Bowser identity
- GNSS location
- Date and time of transaction
- Operator identity
- Dispense start and stop events
- Pulse-derived litres dispensed
- Cumulative meter reading
- Fuel-cap state and tamper flag
- Device and battery health
- Satellite transmission status
- Exception flags for review
Planned solution concept
One combined field-to-cloud fuel workflow
Field hardware (planned)
- A BLE-enabled monitored fuel cap or cap sensor
- A digital pulse-output flowmeter
- A SatSentinel edge / communications device
- GNSS position and timestamp
- Satellite uplink to SatSentinel Cloud
Cloud (planned)
- Bowser and asset dashboards
- Rules and exception alerts
- Transaction and reconciliation reports
- API export to ERP or fuel systems
- Historical event and audit views
Flowmeter reference
OGM-40 Pulsar as an integration reference
The planned solution is being designed around a digital pulse-output flowmeter, with the OGM-40 Pulsar currently serving as a reference device for integration evaluation.
- Nominal flow range
- 25–250 L/min
- Stated accuracy
- ±0.5%
- Pulse options
- Reed or Hall switch
- Connection
- 1.5" BSP female
- Enclosure
- Outdoor / weather-resistant
Reference specifications are those published by the flowmeter supplier. SatSentinel and Fluxcon do not manufacture the OGM-40 and do not imply an endorsement, reseller relationship or exclusive integration.

Planned alerts
Exception-led rather than raw telemetry
Important qualifications
- • The planned solution is being designed around a digital pulse-output flowmeter, with the OGM-40 currently serving as a reference device for integration evaluation. This is not a partnership, endorsement or reseller claim.
- • The exact BLE-cap make, model and functions are to be confirmed. Cap events such as open, closed, tamper, unexpected access and battery condition are treated as intended functions until validated.
- • Neither SatSentinel nor Fluxcon manufactures the OGM-40. Supplier pricing is not reproduced.
- • Features, hardware and integrations remain subject to technical validation and final system design.
