SatSentinel — Safety Without Limits

Future release — Fuel Audit & Rural Distribution

Future release

SatSentinel Fuel Audit

Accountability from bulk supply to the remote receiving asset.

Positioning

What it's being designed for

Auditing fuel from bulk receipt or depot supply through mobile bowser distribution to vehicles, generators, equipment, tanks and other remote assets — using RFID or approved electronic identifiers to link every dispense to its receiving asset.

Potential planned capabilities

  • Bulk receipt and bowser load records
  • RFID-based receiving asset identification
  • Metered dispense capture
  • GNSS-tagged transaction records
  • Satellite uplink when cellular is unavailable
  • Cloud reconciliation across the fuel chain
  • Exception reporting for losses and discrepancies
  • Chain-of-custody audit exports

Planned workflow

A nine-step chain from depot to remote asset.

  1. 1

    Bulk supply

A bulk fuel receipt, depot intake or supplier delivery is recorded.

  2. 2

    Bowser load

Fuel transferred into a nominated mobile bowser is associated with bowser, date, operator and source.

  3. 3

    Field distribution

The bowser travels to rural or remote operating locations.

  4. 4

    Asset identification

The receiving vehicle, generator, machine, tank or equipment is identified via RFID.

  5. 5

    Metered dispense

A digital pulser captures the dispensed volume.

  6. 6

    Transaction record

SatSentinel combines the meter reading with time, location, bowser, operator, asset and cap/tamper state.

  7. 7

    Satellite uplink

The transaction is compressed and uplinked via SatSentinel when cellular is absent.

  8. 8

    Cloud reconciliation

SatSentinel Cloud compares fuel received, transferred, dispensed and remaining.

  9. 9

    Audit & exceptions

Users receive dashboards, reports and alerts for losses, discrepancies and unauthorised transactions.
